In this perspective, we aim to help the scientific, practitioner and policy communities interested in nature recovery to appreciate the benefits of integrating restoration and rewilding approaches. We then call on them to support the emergence of infrastructures and frameworks that facilitate the coordination and integration of the restoration and rewilding agendas.
