Collectively financing, governing and rewilding Nature
Founded in 2022 by a passionate group of individuals and friends, Sylvester is dedicated to tackling the environmental crisis. Their vision is to transform abandoned and neglected lands into thriving, biodiverse ecosystems through the power of collective effort and rewilding. The goal is to create a wide-reaching network of rewilding projects and nature reserves, all managed through shared ownership and governance.

At the core of their innovative approach is the WildToken – a digital tool that represents specific land parcels. By purchasing WildTokens, individuals can actively participate in the management and restoration of these lands, engaging directly in the rewilding process. This model allows everyone to contribute to the preservation and regeneration of nature, providing a platform for democratic decision-making and shared responsibility in environmental stewardship.

Their first ground acquisition project involves the transformation of a eucalyptus plantation in Galicia, Spain, into a flourishing natural ecosystem. This is just one example of Sylvester’s commitment to large-scale ecological restoration that requires minimal human interference, allowing nature to thrive on its own.

Through their projects, Sylvester Rewilding aims to inspire a global movement of eco-conscious land stewards and foster a new era of sustainable land management, driven by communities.
