A warm invitation to join our next World Rewilding Day!
Join us in celebrating World Rewilding Day every year on March 20th
Hundreds of organisations participate in activities, launches, and events on the four corners of the world, with actions spanning from community workshops to policy-level commitments. Millions of people are reached via social media.
World Rewilding Day is an initiative by the Global Rewilding Alliance that is based on an idea by Jan Stannard, Chair of our Alliance Partner Heal Rewilding. The first World Rewilding Day took place on March 20th 2021.
The themes chosen for World Rewilding Day over the years reflect the evolution of the rewilding movement itself. What began as an invitation to imagine a different relationship with nature has grown into a global, collaborative call to action, grounded in hope, driven by practical solutions, and powered by people around the world choosing a positive future for both nature and humanity.
