WORLD REWILDING DAY:
REWILDING TOGETHER
What makes someone a rewilder? If we take a step back, it becomes clear: millions of people around the world are responding to a deep, positive, visceral drive – to support nature’s recovery. But many of these people aren’t even aware of rewilding yet! You may not call yourself a rewilder, but in taking action for nature recovery, we are rewilding together.
#RewildingTogether encompasses the many people that make up this far-reaching, positive movement towards a wilder, more resilient and biodiverse future.
Rewilders, indigenous communities, farmers, fishers, lawmakers, scientists, policymakers, innovators, local communities, governments, investors – rewilders are everywhere, even if they use different words.
Together, across the globe, we form an even stronger and more credible movement.
A huge thanks to Nathan & Slayter of Harding-Lee Media, for our striking logo and this engaging video. Their work has given World Rewilding Day a bold new identity, helping to amplify our message and inspire global action for rewilding.

Be part of the movement. Rewilding takes root in the hands of the people – practitioners, local communities, indigenous peoples, businesses, and individuals.
It starts with a simple question: “How can I help?”

A WILDER, MORE RESILIENT & BIODIVERSE FUTURE BY
REWILDING TOGETHER
Humans are truly at the heart of rewilding and they are the ones benefiting the most from it. This is a true partnership between nature and the human community, with people gently assisting nature to recover, but with wild nature being given time and space to follow her own course, often surprising us, for example, as species reappear that we thought were locally or globally extinct.
Rewilding is proving to be a powerful vision that can be turned into reality. It is based on hope and optimism, and inspires people from all walks of life.
Rewilding initiatives are evolving all over the planet. They tend to work on their own under very different environmental, social, political and financial conditions, but they all share the same powerful vision of restoring the planet’s ecological functionality. Their achievements (many of them large scale) show that this can be done – and much faster than one might believe.
Together, we can rewild our land, our oceans, and our lives.
